Medical and Sanitation need - Critical



Due to military operations into the Dohuk and Zakho area many casualties may need medical help.CFK will set up and maintains a clinic and medical teams in the areas adjacent to the combat areas. Medical volunteers are needed on a continuing basis. Primary needs are for an Orthopedist, General Surgeon, Pediatrician, and for social workers and nurses. The Iraqi regime hinders aid to the refugees. Critical medicine and supplies seldom reach the indigenous people. Fresh water for large numbers of refugees may need to be brought from Turkey. CFK seeks ways to establish clean drinking water for the indigenous population in the Matin mountains where gravity fed springs abound and the cost associated with developing them is low.
